ABOUT THE TEAM
Unzer Group Treasury has an opening for a full time internship - this role will have the opportunity to dive deep into liquidity analysis, Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation and administration and insight-driven reporting. This role exists to help improve process efficiency and decision-making in a dynamic fintech environment while developing foundational treasury skills under guided mentorship.What your work will look like:
- Liquidity and Cash Management Support: Assist with group-wide liquidity management and preparation of cash forecasts. Comfortable using advanced Excel functions for detailed analysis of large data sets.
- TMS Support: Assist in the implementation and development of the Treasury Management System, including administrative tasks, data validation, import and export of data and data enrichment to align with business needs.
- Project Involvement: Participate in treasury-related projects, to support process enhancements. Under guidance, dive deep into processes segments generating data driven insights.
- Process and Operations Support: Help refine treasury operations and support business process improvements across the immediate team.
- Data and Reporting Assistance: Support the execution and development of reporting for treasury and cross-functional teams to understand treasury operations.

What you need to be successful in this role:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to learn and apply analytical skills to financial data; attention to detail in data validation and reporting. Experience working with large data sets.
- Basic Knowledge of systems: Interest in developing skills in Treasury Management Systems. General knowledge of working with systems is an advantage.
- Interest in Fintech and Payments: Keen interest in gaining experience in the fintech/payments industry.
- Technological Aptitude: comfort with learning collaboration and ERP tools (e.g., MTeams, SharePoint, SAP S/4Hana) to support distributed teamwork.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. German is a plus.
- Eagerness to Learn: Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work in a guided, supportive environment.
