Overview
Founded in 2002 the YES Forum is a European network of organisations working with and for young people. We are bound together by a commitment to improving the life chances of vulnerable young people. With our work we encourage young people to develop their skills and find their place in society. We also act as a forum for sharing good practices and information on youth and social work. Through our lobbying work, we seek to influence policy and perceptions, to create opportunities for young people so they have better chances in life. Details
The successful candidate will be working at the YES Forum’s office in Stuttgart, Germany.
Key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Assisting in on-going European projects with young people and professionals (including business trips within the EU)

Assisting in the organisation of YES Forum events and conferences

Assisting in policy work: Research on social, legal and economic developments having an impact on European Youth policy

Supporting the daily promotion of the YES Forum and contacts with members (including contributions to the YES Forum newsletter)

Description of Ideal Candidate
- We are looking forward to welcoming an enthusiastic student (political science, education, social work) willing to work at his/her own initiative.
- An excellent knowledge of English is required and a good knowledge of German or any other EU language is desirable but not essential.
- We also welcome students to write their Master's thesis in collaboration with the YES Forum.
