Internship Visa in China
If your internship will only last for a maximum of 6 months, you will have to secure a Student X2 Chinese Visa, which is a short-term version of an internship visa. However if you will be staying for a maximum of 1 year, which may be considered a longer form of an internship, you may have to get an X1 Chinese Visa. Below are the requirements that you may need to prepare:
- Accomplished and signed Chinese Visa Application form that you may download from this link.
- A Foreign Student Visa Application Form that you may download from this link.
- A valid passport expiring at least 6 months after the expiration date of the visa, with at least 1 blank page.
- Previous Chinese Visas if available.
- 2 most recent photos taken within 6 months on the date of application, following the specifications of the Chinese visa that you may find in this link.
- Admission notice or letter of invitation from the institution where you will be getting your internship.
