Visitor Visa in China

If you intend to visit China for leisure, a tour, or a conference, you may have to secure a Chinese Visa Type L. This type of visa is usually issued with a validity of 60 days per visit, of which expiration and number of entry will be determined by the embassy upon your application. The Chinese Consulate may also opt to issue a tourist visa that has a shorter duration and fewer number of entries. For your application, you may need to secure the following documents:

  • Accomplished and signed Chinese Visa Application form that you may accomplish and download from this link.
  • A valid passport with remaining at least 12 months validity on the date of application and at least 2 blank pages for the visa.
  • Previous Chinese Visas if available.
  • 2 most recent photos taken within 6 months on the date of application, following the specifications of the Chinese visa that you may find in this link.
  • Photocopy of round-trip flight confirmation.
  • Hotel confirmation with applicant’s name as a guest.

 

How to Apply:

  • Set an appointment online via this link.
  • Visit the Chinese Embassy near you, of which list you may find here.
  • Bringing all your printed and original documents, submit it to the consulate.
  • Pay the amount required for your type of Visa.
  • Wait to be notified of the visa’s date of release.
