Internship Visa in Singapore

Singapore can be a very promising country to get internships. This allows you to jumpstart your career and get acquainted with the Singaporean corporate culture. Not to mention the rewards of staying in the country in terms of going around after your internship! If you are to render your internship services in the country, you will be required to get an S Pass. All foreigners are required to get the S Pass prior to their internship. However, to check in advance if you qualify you may take the S Pass Assessment Tool first. Below are the initial requirements you may be required to submit:

  • Online application via EP Online
  • Passport that contains at least two blank pages and is not more than 10 years old
  • Validity of the passport should be 6 months after the date of exit from Singapore
  • Passport sized photo following the requirements stated in this link
  • Relevant certificates such as degree certificates, transcripts of records, or college assessment certificate
  • A letter from a supporting body such as a Registration Agency, Professional Body, or Accreditation Agency
  • Application fee payment of SGD105
  • Medical coverage of up to USD 11,000

 

How to apply:

  • Sign in and submit all your documents via EP Online.
  • Pay the processing fee of SGD105.
  • Once you’re approved, they are to provide an In-Principle Approval (IPA), which will serve as your pre-approved single-entry visa.
