About the DWS Internship
The DWS Internship offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experiences through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events. With strong support from mentors and managers, you will be challenged to grow while gaining valuable insights into the world of Asset Management. This is an excellent way to determine whether a career in Financial Services & Asset Management meets your personal aspirations.
Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. Program the following year.
About the Team
As part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) of the Investment Division, you will work at the center of DWS's investment platform, helping to shape the governance, processes and controls that enable successful investing across all asset classes.
Rather than making investment decisions yourself, you will gain a unique "helicopter view" across the entire investment organization. You will learn how ideas move from research and portfolio construction through implementation, oversight, and risk management, while supporting the frameworks that allow investment teams to operate effectively and responsibly.
The team works closely with Portfolio Management, Research, Trading, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product and Operations, providing a unique opportunity to understand how a global asset manager functions end-to-end.
If you are interested in governance, process excellence, automation, and the inner workings of asset management, this is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to the industry while working on topics that have a real business impact.
As our DWS Intern, you will:
-
Gain insight into the end-to-end operating model of a global asset manager across multiple asset classes
-
Support governance, process improvement, and control initiatives across the Investment Division
-
Contribute to projects involving investment oversight, risk management, and regulatory requirements
-
Help identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency
-
Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Research, Trading, Risk, Product, Compliance, Legal and Operations teams
-
