MISSION

The ATR Marketing department is involved in many transverse topics within the company, with the aim to positively influence the perception of our products and support sales campaigns. Our expertise in the analysis and transmission of information is one of the key value adding features of our department.

The internship will focus on marketing for aircraft lessors, aviation investors and appraisers. You will work across the 3 marketing teams to develop a targeted pitch for ATR for the leasing, financier and appraiser community, which will enable ATR to sell new aircraft and to influence the perception of ATR products.

ACTIVITIES

A non-exhaustive list of the tasks:

  • Map lessors and banks according to aircraft portfolio size and placement strategy, aircraft diversity and geographical span.
  • Develop tailored messages to influence the perception of market potential for turboprops and ATR and minimize the risk perception.
  • Develop content to showcase the financial benefits of ATR for lessors, including financial scenarios for fleet ownership (sensitivity to assumptions and cases for new, second life and freighter conversions).
  • Craft messages related to product suitability for lessors, including options, redeliveries, reconfigurations and freighter conversions, maintenance reserves, in service support as well as financial impacts associated.

Description of Ideal Candidate

PROFILE

Students pursuing a master’s degree Aeronautical Engineering, Air Transport or Business. We preferably seek candidates with both technical knowledge and an understanding of airline economics and financial modelling. 

On the job Competencies (3-4 key competencies)

 

  • Very good knowledge of airline economics.
  • Very good knowledge of regional aviation sector (airline environment, competitors …).
  • Very good ability to work across departments.
  • Good knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.

Languages

  • English Negotiation level
  • French and other languages would be a plus

IT Competencies (outils utilisés)

  • MS-Office (expert), Excel specifically.

Social Competencies

  • Good ability to synthetize & communicate efficiently.
  • Team spirit & relational skills, understanding of a non-technical business needs.
  • Adaptable to diverse topics, audiences, and cultures.
  • Creative, able to express new ideas and adhere.
