The Alan Insurance Graduate Program
The Alan Insurance Graduate Program is a unique opportunity to enter the team at the core of Alan Insurance business without getting silo-ed on a precise role. The Insurance team focuses on innovating on our health and disability insurance products, over 4 geographies including France, Spain and Belgium. Through the Program, you will develop a very precious blend of technical, business, entrepreneurial and product skills.
After a 2-months onboarding, you will be involved in multiple missions in different streams of the Insurance team:

The Enterprise and Public Sector stream structures the best offers for our largest clients, whether a ministry or a corporate. They land on our most important deals (RFP - request for proposal) with our Sales team, contributing to business growth in a very visible way.

The insurance product stream dive into the lifecycle of a contract, from pricing and product implementation to the renewal phase. They team up with Engineer, Data and Marketing teams to ensure a delightful experience to our customers, whether when signing on our website, better equip Sales with the best offers or undergoing the renewal campaign (offer updates from one year to another).

The analytics and repricing stream focus on building metrics, tools, and dynamic models to monitor our portfolio, forecast our margin and price our portfolio. They push strategic decision making (like repricing) alongside the Data, Strategy and Finance teams.

The reinsurance and risk stream owns the Capital requirement model, the risk governance, the relationship with our Supervisor (ACPR) and the reinsurance coverage.
Each program and mission will be co-built with you, to make the most of your growth plan and ensure you have impact and visibility from day 1 at Alan.
All along your Graduate Program, you will also benefit from a personalized support from the team through coaching. This will ensure that you are never alone on a topic and that you grow fast, while still being in the driver’s seat.

You would be a good fit if you:

Have a first experience in actuarial/insurance, finance, strategy, data, quantitative or product topics.

Have a scientific background (statistics, engineering, actuarial science)

Are excited about growing in a fast-paced environment on multidisciplinary topics involving technical, data, regulatory, product and business questions related to health and prévoyance insurance

Are comfortable with SQL or willing to learn

Are analytical and structured, with a fact-based decision-making style

Are enthusiastic about teamwork, curious, learning, and teaching

Are willing to deeply change the insurance industry and challenge the status quo

Have strong written communication skills

Are fluent in both French and English (Alan’s working language)
