BECOME A TRAINEE

As an International Business Trainee you will gain valuable working experiences in a specific specialist field at our headquarters in Denmark and potentially at one of our global offices. As an International Business Trainee you choose a field of specialty for the entire programme.

Specialist fields

You can choose to be a trainee within different specialist fields such as Buying, Retail Management, TECH, E-Commerce, Sales Management, PEOPLE, Sourcing, or Design. The amount of specialist fields varies from year to year. It is not guranteed that all fields will be available every year, but we expect to have International Business Trainees joining us in each of the specialist fields listed below for 2025.

Description of Ideal Candidate

YOUR PROFILE 

You have a good understanding of general business practices, and you are a natural sales talent. You have an outgoing personality and the ability to build and maintain trustworthy relations. With your professional, analytical, and proactive mindset, you enjoy taking on responsibility and new challenges. An IBT position in Sales Management is ideal for structured, organised individuals who enjoy working with data and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Your additional qualifications:  

  • A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or business school - several years of relevant full-time work experience can in some cases compensate for a lower educational level  
  • Working experience within retail or sales  
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry and the latest trends  
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • International experience from studying or working abroad

To give us a chance to learn more about you as a person you will be asked to record a personal video of max. 2 minutes duration as a part of your application. Terms of employment

  • A monthly salary 
  • Security and insurance package 
  • Guidance and professional assistance regarding work and residence permit throughout the entire process (this for non-EU citizens) 
  • Fully paid accommodation throughout the entire 2-year period. You will live in shared apartments provided by BESTSELLER.  
  • Coverage of travel expenses for Summer and New Year’s holidays in your home country 
  • Paid study trips abroad as a part of the school periods
