Your tasks

  • The ECM team is responsible for the sourcing and structuring as well as the execution of capital market transactions. The position is characterized by high-paced project work in a demanding and highly dynamic environment. A successful candidate must interact with our global sales force, our experienced research team and highly skilled special execution team as well as our legal team
  • Actively support the senior team in transactions such as IPOs, capital increases, share reallocations and share buybacks as well as involvement in pre-IPO financing rounds
  • Construct complex market, company and competition analyses independently (e.g. business valuation, financial modelling, peer group and benchmarking analysis)
  • Create presentations, e.g. pitch books, marketing documents, ongoing capital market updates, and steer committee meeting minutes/agendas
  • Conduct data analysis of individual companies and market sectors
  • Possibility to actively contribute to the further development and improvement of established processes and infrastructure

Description of Ideal Candidate

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree student in a quantitative discipline in the third semester or higher
  • Ideally, initial practical experience within an investment bank or corporate finance firm with exposure to ECM transactions and projects
  • Strong quantitative / analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interest in finance, investment banking, and the capital markets
  • Excellent technical knowledge essential due to the very early responsibility and exposure
  • Strong accounting and valuation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally advanced knowledge of Python and VBA
  • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills allowing you to interact with peers, seniors and clients in an articulate and appropriate manner
  • Heavily analytical driven and focused personality, who consistently delivers high quality work
  • Attention to detail and ambition to deliver products to the highest of standards
  • Fluency in English and German
