This role in summary
As part of the IT Finance Team within the Europe Information System Department, We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP FI/CO Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, offering an opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain practical knowledge in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
The intern will assist in SAP configurations, data analysis, financial reporting, and support business process improvements.
A person with a strong interest in new technologies, open mind in finding out different ways to deliver solutions for automating procedures.
Your responsibilities will include
- Learn and assist in SAP FI/CO module configuration, testing, and documentation.
- Support end-users in troubleshooting and resolving SAP FI/CO-related issues.
- Help with financial data reconciliation, report generation, and analysis.
- Participate in business process improvement initiatives related to finance and controlling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives from supply chain and market operations
- Document business processes, solutions, and best practices.
- Conduct research on SAP FI/CO best practices and industry trends.

Minimum requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Management Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Familiarity with SAP FI/CO modules is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other analytical tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Fluent in English spoken and written, Italian language is a plus
Preferred skills and experiences
- Prior experience or coursework in SAP ERP systems.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and controlling processes.
- Basic understanding of SQL or data analytics tools.
- Interest and passionate of Digital solutions to support Finance Department (such as RPA, AI&ML, )
- Agile or DevOps Methodology
