The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) is an international financial institution established by 11 countries in the Black Sea region. BSTDB’s vision is to be recognized globally, and by its shareholders in particular, as a prominent development finance institution for the Black Sea Region providing well-focused development assistance and solutions.

Opening 1
The intern will assist with:
- coordination of invitations, registration and assistance to speakers and audience of offline and online events;
- preparation and delivery of physical events;
- updating of the database of official, business and media contacts;
- daily contacts with contacts with MC authorities, sister IFIs, business partners and media.
Opening 2
The intern will assist with:
- developing, implementing, and evaluating the Bank’s social media strategy;
- with initiatives aimed at empowering the Bank’s social media presence, including daily use of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram;
- suggesting and implementing a content editorial calendar;
- curating and creating innovative, dynamic, and strategic content tailored to each platform and to the BSTDB style;
- engaging with the Bank’s online community.

Applicants should:
- be students or hold a degree preferably in Political sciences, Business Administration or Economy;
- have an excellent command of the English language;
- knowledge of a language of any BSTDB member-state is a strong advantage;
- possess strong MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint);
- have advanced knowledge of social media;
- have experience in organizing business events;
- have good organizational and communication skills;
- be able to work under pressure.
Opening 2
Applicants should:
- be students or hold a degree preferably in Journalism, Digital Media or Public Relations;
- possess an excellent command of the English language;
- knowledge of a language of any BSTDB member-state is an advantage;
- possess strong MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint);
- have advanced knowledge of social media;
- be able to translate complex content into creative posts;
- be team players while being self-supporting;
- be able to work under pressure.

Cost/funding for participants
The duration of an internship shall be from 1 to 6 months, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Interns shall receive a monthly internship maintenance grant for each month of completed internship as follows:
- interns, who rent accommodation in Thessaloniki for the purpose of the internship, shall receive Euros 700 (proof of rent is required);
- interns, who do not rent accommodation in Thessaloniki for the purpose of their internship, shall receive Euros 400.
Interns shall be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred at the beginning and at the end of the internship up to the total cost of one round trip economy class airfare between the place of university or equivalent studies and Thessaloniki, unless they are entitled to claim such travel expenses from any other source.
Interns whose place of university or equivalent studies is less than 65 km from Thessaloniki are not entitled to reimbursement of travel expenses
