Become a DesirMED Climate Ambassador

Are you passionate about protecting our planet? Then become a climate ambassador for Europe!

Through DesirMED, the EU initiative set up to help people in the Mediterranean regions adapt to climate change, Climate KIC is looking for 100 climate ambassadors. Will you be one of them?

Your story and experiences can inspire others to take action! Have you thought of a solution to tackle a climate challenge in your area or community? Whether it’s mobilising to plant trees, protect the dunes in your local beach, restore a small wetland, help your community after a fire or a flood, or even make small changes like rainwater harvesting or building a school garden… Your story could highlight challenges you’ve faced, lessons you’ve learned, or the impact your actions have had.

And then? Not only you will inspire other people with your experience, but you will be part of a community of 100 changemakers to exchange ideas, inspire action, and amplify your voice in the fight against climate change. You will have the opportunity to participate in our events and initiatives, including our upcoming Adaptation Festivals and Exhibitions in Greece, Spain and Cyprus.

How to become a Climate Ambassador

The format is up to you – here’s a few ideas (just make sure they are good quality):
