As a global leader in the production of innovative medicines, we at Boehringer Ingelheim offer you the opportunity to get to know the diverse tasks of the Market Insights department. You will accompany us in market research and take responsibility for market trends forecasts for our animal health.
You will gain an insight into the following topics and areas of responsibility
- Get to know our Global Data, Analytics & Insights team and gain extensive insights into the market research of a globally operating group.
- As part of your internship, you will draw up forecasts for our animal health, taking various market trends into account.
- To do this, you will research and collect external data sources, manage the data evaluation and then analyze the collected information.
- In addition, you will support us in the administration of our internal data management tool and work with your colleagues to continuously improve our processes and procedures.
- You will also have the opportunity to work on various exciting projects and contribute your ideas in a profitable way.

Requirements
- Students of economics, marketing or comparable courses of study
- Strong communication skills and interest in conceptual issues
- Independent and self-reliant way of working as well as a quick grasp of things and enjoy dealing with people
- Previous knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel) and Tableau
- Very good written and spoken English skills

What we offer you
- As a student intern, you can expect a fair allowance (payment of the current minimum wage)
- For every full month with us, you will receive 2.5 paid days off
- A full-time internship comprises 37.5 hours per week (a lower number of hours is also possible by arrangement)
- Valuable practical experience in various projects
- The internship lasts 6 months. You can start at several times a year.
