Overview of Responsibilities

This internship will help you understand the work of an ESG Analyst. You will work closely with our ESG Analysts/Portfolio Managers from relevant teams (strategies: Europe, Global, Emerging Markets, Asia) to help better understand companies’ performances, risks, and opportunities. Within the ESG team, and in conjunction with the ESG Analysts/Portfolio Managers, you will oversee various assignments such as:

  • ESG analysis of companies in the covered area (Europe, Global, Emerging Markets, Asia)
  • Drafting of ESG memos and companies’ assessments
  • Monitoring portfolios
  • Searching for engagement opportunities
  • Participation in company meetings
  • Writing ESG reports
  • Specific sector studies, updating portfolio monitoring tools, etc.

Description of Ideal Candidate

Profile:

  • Student in final year of university (master’s degree) or on a gap year
  • 1st experience in asset management (desirable)
  • Strong interest in financial markets, and especially in economic and financial news•Very good knowledge of Excel and, if possible, Bloomberg and/or FactSet
  • Responsive, serious, adaptable, good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
  • Detail-oriented, capable of analysis and writing
  • Strong ability to work in a team, in an international environment
  • Fluent English is essential, both written and spoken•French and/or other language is a plus
