Istituto Marangoni Milano, in collaboration with Vogue Italia, has launched a scholarship contest dedicated to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication & Image, Fashion Management, and Fragrances & Cosmetics, with the aim of supporting and promoting new talent.

THE CONTEST
The new contest, created by Istituto Marangoni Milano with the creative support of Vogue Italia, invites young talents to explore the world of contemporary subcultures and their relationship with fashion, understood as a tool for expression and belonging.
While in the past subcultures were defined by immediately recognizable aesthetic codes, today their language has become more subtle and layered. In the digital era, new generations build communities and value systems that are expressed through attitudes, everyday practices, and shared cultural references, not necessarily linked to a codified aesthetic. Fashion thus becomes a narrative medium capable of visually translating these values: a language that tells who we are, what we belong to, and how we choose to express ourselves.
From subcultures rooted in territories and local traditions to those born and developed in digital spaces, fashion reflects and amplifies social, cultural, and emotional dynamics, transforming itself into a visual archive of the present. A narrative made up of shared details and symbols that goes beyond appearance and tells the story of belonging to a community.
Future students of Istituto Marangoni Milano are therefore invited to interpret this theme through a visual narrative of the subcultures of their homeland or their origins, offering a personal and authentic vision of the identities that inhabit them.
A jury composed of the school’s academic leaders and the editorial team of Vogue Italia will select the most deserving submissions.

THE SCHOLARSHIP
Istituto Marangoni offers the most talented candidates the opportunity to benefit from a tuition fee reduction for the chosen course starting in September 2026 at Istituto Marangoni Milano, according to the following terms:
- Up to a maximum of €15,000 (€5,000 per year) for three-year undergraduate courses
- Up to a maximum of €5,000 for the Foundation course
- Up to a maximum of €10,000 for one-year intensive courses, Master’s programs, and Master of Arts degrees
