WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?
Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder Nicola Kilner.
We are growing rapidly, and we’re looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with us!
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Support the planning and execution of press, influencer, and event activations across new markets in line with global launch strategies
- Assist with the implementation of our always-on communications strategy, ensuring consistent brand presence and storytelling
- Adapt global assets to suit the needs of local markets, and help develop clear guidelines for affiliate regions.
- Maintain and update our media and influencer database, and support with vetting new contacts and conducting community research.
- Contribute to the planning and coordination of events and influencer mailers, as well as early product sample delivery.
- Fuel the affiliates team with insights and best practices from around the industry.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to daily editorial and digital monitoring efforts.
- Track industry activity with weekly competitive intelligence reports and manage internal trackers and coverage updates.
- Assist with maintaining press samples, product stock, and office collateral.
- Help draft thank-you notes and communications to media and influencer partners.

High Potential Candidate:
Soon to graduate from a business/communication school, with at least 1 first corporate work experience in digital, marketing, and/or communications. With a strong interest in skincare.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- You’re a proactive and organized self-starter with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach to managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
- You bring energy, creativity, and curiosity to everything you do and you're not afraid to think outside the box to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- You have a keen eye for detail and follow through with precision, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- You're passionate about social media, influencer culture, and digital trends, with a strong understanding of key platforms and how they shape brand storytelling.
- You’re a team player who’s confident with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with Launchmetrics, Tribe, or Tagger is a definite plus!
