Job Description

You will be part of the Group Process Transformation and Digitalisation team at the head office in Brussels. The Transformation office, more widely, is an internal consulting department for the Group, aiming at streamlining, re-engineering and digitalising the Group structure and all processes supporting interactions between the Group and the local entities. The Group Process Transformation and Digitalisation team is young, international, has grown considerably over the past year, and has high exposure across the Eurofins network.

In this internship, you will collaborate with key leaders from different teams. You will:

  • Support the setup of the process transformation project; define the objective, list of deliverables, and associated timeline with the process owners and key users from the business.
  • Diagnose the current process; identify its strengths and weaknesses, pain points, and key areas of improvements.
  • Target process definition and documentation.
  • Process digitalisation, in collaboration with our in-house IT team of business analysts and developers, defining the requirements and following up on the development of the solutions, ensuring it is completely functional.
  • Deploy the new process and associated tools; define and run the change management & communication plan; train the end users, etc.
  • Monitor and continuously improve the newly deployed process and associated tools.

You will potentially work on multiple process transformation projects simultaneously, under the guidance of an Internal Consultant and a Project Manager, and, depending on the nature of the projects, work with other team members and interns.

Some exciting projects the Group Process Transformation and Digitalisation team has overseen:

  • Project 1 – To further enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency, a global human resources database incorporating all Eurofins employees was developed and underlying processes were improved.
  • Project 2 – To strengthen business governance and support strategic decision-making, a global compliance tool with key approval flow features was created and launched.
  • Project 3 –  The IT Finance Controlling team received tailored solutions to further improve the budget review process for top management.

Being part of the Group Process Transformation and Digitalisation team will provide invaluable experience and exposure to kick-start your career. You will support the team on a range of challenging projects, with intensive coaching. You will take on challenges as part of a multi-cultural and cross-regional team in an international and fast-growing organisation.

Finally, you will be working at our dynamic, international office based in Brussels with an attractive compensation package and extra-legal benefits including covered transportation costs, organic meals, sports activities, and annual office events.
