Details
As an intern (m/f/d) in the Group Environmental Office (GEO) you will primarily work in the following streams work streams:
- Sustainability reporting, ratings and assurance
- Group-wide operational environmental management & reporting

You will work in a diversified and challenging environment, which allows very active involvement with increasing responsibilities in a diversified, high-performing, agile, dynamic team. Depending on your assigned work stream, your tasks may include:
- Support the team with administrative and organizational tasks
- Support internal sustainability initiatives and projects in operations
- Collect, analyze, and report environmental data for CSRD reporting
- Prepare documentation for audits, such as process descriptions or controls checklists
- Support the development, planning and execution of sustainability-related projects, processes, partnerships and/or events
- Support on communication of sustainability initiatives internally and engage with sustainability community

What are you made of?
- You are currently working towards a university degree (master, PhD) in business administration, finance, management, sustainability, economics, political sciences, environmental sciences, environmental engineering and/or any other related field
- Previous knowledge and/or a strong interest in at least one of the work streams (see above)
- Ideally you have already gained first practical experience in the fields of sustainability, and/ or project management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required; German or another European language an asset
- Strong ability to think and act independently and to quickly adapt to new problem settings and situations
- Proactive, flexible and energetic team players with a strong personal interest in sustainability issues, environmental problems and societal concerns
- Attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to drive several projects at once
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT
Depending on the work stream you will support, different skillsets can be an asset:
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- First experience with database tools
