The Customer Service is part of the Supply Chain job family. Customer Service Benelux plays a pivotal role in assuring agreed targets of service level towards customers, managing end-to-end order flows to ensure operational excellence across the Benelux cluster.

Reporting directly to the Regional Customer Service Manager, your core business is an interface role between the Sales Department and the Supply Chain for sales forecasting (short, medium and long-term) on the brands Barilla, Wasa and Mulino Bianco and long  term forecast for Harrys.

Your role is central to the smooth flow of information between Central Demand Planning and all the Market Units involved. Your performance will contribute to the achievement of an online customer service with the objectives set.

More specifically, your main missions will be:

  • In close collaboration with the Sales Department and Trade Marketing, identify all the events that may have an impact on the level of sales and evaluate the volume generated by them,
  • Establish sales forecasts in accordance with timings of the planning process and Supply Chain
  • Follow up on the promotional activity,
  • Update the forecast management software,
  • Control the gaps between the forecast and the realized, in order to set up appropriate action plans in connection with the sales teams
  • Provide the Global Production Planning Department with all useful information concerning the forecasts submitted,
  • Inform the sales teams of the risks of breakdown and coordinate the actions to be implemented

Your profile

  • Education type Business School, or Master in Supply Chain or Finance, your soft skills will make the difference: you enjoy dealing with numbers and making them meaningful. You master the computer tools, in particular Excel has no more secrets for you. You have real analysis capabilities while keeping an overview on business.
  • You work with rigor. Your leadership and your interpersonal skills allow you to convince your interlocutors.
  • The position requires fluency in English (both written and spoken).
