Overview

The TEC Forum 2025 is a space designed for trainers active in the ESC and NA officers who implement the TEC learning cycle. In 2025, the Forum is hosted in Lithuania.

Details

It is a 3 full working days event planned on September 15-19 2025.  The arrival of the participants is expected on 15th of September 2025 and departure on 19th of September 2025. The TEC Forum 2025 is a continuation of the events organised 2011 in Italy, 2014 in Switzerland, 2018 again in Italy, 2021 in Belgium, 2022 in Estonia, 2023 in Poland and 2024 in Germany. This is a long history of experiences and at the same time motivation to continue strengthening the community of TEC trainers and officers for quality improvement of the different activities in the European Solidarity Corps .

In 2025, our theme of the event will be Solidarity In Times of Uncertainty.

Therefore, we offer space where participants can work in three-day-ongoing working groups. On one hand, the working groups can deepen burning issues and share their results with plenary. On the other hand, the plenary discussion and inputs can inspire the working groups for their further discussions.

From the TEC Forum 2025 you may expect:

  • Exchange of questions, insights, ideas and experiences from different perspectives of the people involved in the implementation of TEC: Trainers, training providers, NA officers, SALTO officers
  • Engage with European Commission representative.
  • Expert contributions on the topic
  • Presentations and feedback on tools and methods (especially on the main topic)
  • Space where you can work together to find new solutions to issues that are important to you in the field of TEC implementation.
  • Space for implementation and consolidation of networks and working groups
  • Fostering a sense of belonging to the international TEC community and mutual support
  • Follow up on-line meeting for participants
  • TEC Forum 2025 will take place near Birštonas a small resort town in the forests of Lithuania. We hope that you will be able to find peace and relaxation as well as eagerness and motivation to tackle this year's program.

By this approach, the TEC Forum 2025 will also contribute to the general objectives of the previous forums, in 2025 with the specific focus on Solidarity In Times of Uncertainty :

  • To explore together current societal challenges and their impact on TEC activities, as well as the impact it has on the volunteers in specific areas of competence development (learning, solidarity, active participation, pedagogical support etc.)
  • To provide space for exchange of experiences, needs and networking initiatives of TEC trainers belonging to different countries/training pools
  • To strengthen a common understanding and knowledge of the diversity of practices, approaches and quality elements of TEC and the European Solidarity Corps programmeTo stimulate a community of practice and networking
  • To provide space for the exchange of experiences and co-operation initiatives of NA officers
  • To gain an insight into trainers‘competences required to ensure quality and to respond to the needs of volunteers through TEC
  • To create a platform for reflections and recommendations for the implementation of the TEC within the European Solidarity Corps

Facilitators of the TEC Forum 2025 will be Vika Mato (LT), Lisa Teresa Gut (DE) and Carina Altenriederer (AT).
