As an apprentice, you will join one of our flagship trading services – LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.
Engineering
Roles in Engineering apply deep technical and analytical expertise to build, operate and improve the platforms, products, services and models that power our business. Apprentices will join the Markets Engineering Division and be part of Service Operation or Reliability Engineering and gain exposure across the full lifecycle to solve complex problems, enable secure and resilient delivery, and drive continuous improvement in a product-led, data-driven environment.
We have several teams looking for an apprentice and your placement, you may:

IT Infrastructure and Cloud Team to support the delivery of cloud and IT infrastructure products, therefore an interest or understanding of VMware AWS
-
IT Production Team and join as a reliability engineer, therefore an interest or understanding in learning reliability fundamentals including basic scripting, observability methods,
recovery processes, and proactive monitoring.
Note: You will have the opportunity on your application form to include your technical skills

Eligibility
To be eligible, you should be either on track to enter a master's degree in 2026 or currently enrolled in a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

You should be pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

Good coding ability and willingness to learn new technologies during your placement.

You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.

You should have an interest in technology proven either via your work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies. For instance, you may have secured an internship in a technology role or focused on technology as part of a university project. You may have learnt how to code or how to use a particular technology.

You should have a demonstrable interest in financial markets, which you’ve built through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.
