Over a period of 24 months, including an international assignment, you will receive in-depth training in professional, methodological and social skills, which will qualify you for assuming responsibility at Munich Re worldwide. Your Job
- Working on exciting and varied topics focusing on driving the investment strategy of a global leader in the (re)insurance industry, implementing tactical asset allocation and managing liquidity for Munich Re and ERGO portfolios worldwide
- Working closely with external and internal asset managers, ensuring the efficient execution of investment strategies and contributing to the success of our domestic and international companies while navigating diverse regulatory requirements and restrictions
- Experience the possibilities of a real market leader with modern infrastructure and a strong commitment to innovation (e.g. we have had a dedicated AI team since 2017)
- Experience the opportunities and insights offered by one of the world's leading risk managers
- Participate in an international assignment of three months to broaden your intercultural experience
- Acquire profound knowledge of our business as a as well as further developing your soft skills in our distinguished global learning program

Description of Ideal Candidate
Your Profile
- Welcome graduates from any field of study - as long as you are eager to grow in finance and hold (or are pursuing) the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
- Initial work experience (e.g internships or up to two years of work experience after graduation) in investment management, asset management, banking, or treasury
- Strong interest in capital markets and a solid understanding of investment principles, economic indicators, and financial instruments
- Affinity for programming, automation and AI applications; experience with tools like Power BI and Power Apps is beneficial
- At least three months experience abroad (studies or internship/work experience abroad)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability and experience in communicating complex matters in a transparent and clear way, both orally and in writing
- Strong written and verbal communication in English required, basic skills of German and willingness to improve expected
