About Technology & Process Electro and Hydro Mechanical

The Electro technical unit (TTTE) supports operations and projects within hydropower, wind and solar power plants in Statkraft. TTTE also provides global technical governance for main components common for all the technologies mentioned.

You’ll be part of a team that combines expertise, experience, and innovation to drive the development of renewable energy.

  • Gain valuable work experience in the electro technical area of dry type transformers for station power supply and exciter systems
  • Work on real-world challenges and contribute to projects that directly impact our business

Examples of Tasks You Might Work On

Depending on the needs of the department and your interests, you may work on:

  • Mapping of Statkraft’s dry type exciter and station power transformers aiming to identify interchangeable (mutual spare) units
  • Identify requirements potentially forming the basis for new technical requirements
  • Literature studies related to technical issues associated with dry type exciter and station power transformers
  • Build electromagnetic transient model of the exciter circuits for synchronous generators in the Power Factory simulation tool
