Overview

We are a team of over 530,000 people in 12 markets dedicated to bringing the best value, choice and service to our millions of customers each week. Jack Cohen started it all on a market stall in Hackney in 1919... We want to help our interns to grow their skills, reach their potential and feel inspired. We believe the most rewarding way for our interns to learn is through the responsibilities of real-life business experience which we will give them from day one as well as supported learning with masterclasses. During their paid 10 week programme they can apply their knowledge, by being innovative, working collaboratively across the business, and being responsiveness to the business' needs. We want our interns to feel welcome so there's always a buddy or manager on hand to support them

Details

At Tesco, we welcome individuality and uniqueness. We always want our colleagues to feel they can be themselves at work and we’re committed to helping them be at their best. We’re building an inclusive workplace, a place to actively celebrate the cultures, personalities and preferences of our colleagues who share the same purpose, to serve our customers a little better every day, and you’ll have a unique part to play.

You’ll be encouraged to try new things, push yourself and learn from mistakes while you get hands-on experience. You’ll have access to a wide variety of workshops and resources, online or at our on-site training academy, to help you develop skills like presenting with confidence and effective influencing, as well as looking after your wellbeing. And don’t worry, you’ll be supported throughout your 10-week internship by your manager and your buddy – they were in your shoes not so long ago!
