Introducing Qatar

Qatar is one of the thriving independent countries in Middle-East Asia. It is located on the west coast of the Persian Gulf and covers 11,571 square kilometers of land. Most of the country’s topographical features are flat, made up of low-lying desert with some portions of limestone plateau. Although there aren’t any permanent bodies of water that can be seen in Qatar, it still has a coastline that stretches over 560 kilometers.

Qatar is well known for possessing one of the largest gas fields all across the globe. When the country tried to cut its oil dependency in the 1990s, it started production of natural gas. At present, the development of natural gas in the past years has been contributing the largest portion of the country’s GDP. This industry has been attracting most of the country’s expats and foreign workers. The country boasts of its robust petroleum industry where experts in the field get to experience and hone their skills from the very onset of gas production to the massive exportation of Qatar’s leading export product. While petroleum accounts for most of the country’s exports, their economy is also supported by the industries of machineries, and manufactured goods. In addition to the many opportunities in the oil and gas industry, the country has also been an excellent destination for those who would like to pursue a career in architecture and IT.

Do you share a deep interest in the petroleum industry? Are your skills a perfect fit in the extensive experience of gas production and refinery? Perhaps you’re competitive in the field of architecture and information technology! If yes, then Qatar is a promising destination for you.
