Internship Description 

This internship is a full-time, unpaid opportunity in our Prague Capability Hub, with a chance for you to discover what it's like to work in one of the top 5 FMCG companies in the world. You will work on real business projects and will be in frequent contact with your line manager to align on your next steps and responsibilities. 

As an intern, you'll get the chance to experience the “real life” business whilst developing your skills - learning through experiencing different areas of the business and building your own reputation. With the right focus and attitude, the internship can lead to a long-lasting career with AB InBev. You will work in our Finance department and will be in frequent contact with your line manager to align on your next steps and responsibilities. 

What will you be doing? 

Take your first steps into the world of Finance within AB InBev! There are 4 different teams that you can join: 

Our Risk Management team is responsible for assessing the credit risk of new and existing customers. As an intern, you will be monitoring the financial risk and payment behavior of both type of customers. On top, you will have the opportunity to participate in different projects, such as reporting, improving payment behavior data models and credit risk models. This experience will teach you how to work with analytical tools such as Power BI and Power Query. 

The Credit Management team is in direct contact with our customers to continuously improve the cash flow of the company. You will play a crucial role to cooperate with Sales to ensure that customers have good payment behavior and sustainable volumes. This internship is an excellent opportunity to understand how a large multinational operates, because you will manage processes with a lot of stakeholders (Sales, CX, AR, Invoicing, Logistics etc.) and will receive a personal target to improve one of these processes. You will learn how to drive financial results while boosting volumes and customer satisfaction. 

Our Dispute Management team owns the end-to-end process of disputes resolution and the deductions applied. As an intern, you will help delegate and follow-up on the requests impacting the process with all implicated stakeholders: Credit, Sales Finance, Trade Investment Cell, Key Account Managers, FP&A, Invoicing etc. You will ensure that all requests are treated within the pre-determined Service Level Agreement parameters and will continuously look for improvements & automation opportunities across the process to reduce the lead time on the dispute resolution. 

Lastly, in our Trade Investment Cell team, you will focus on knock off invoices with corresponding accruals, validating outstanding accruals as well as reviewing and verifying contracts, ERP records & invoices to ensure compliance. You will also help us drive the standardization across various processes, customer groups and market segments to comply to the most efficient standard way of working. 

Based on the availability at the point of application and your personal ambitions, we will further guide you towards a position in one of the above-mentioned teams. 

Internship Duration  

The duration of the internship can range from 3 to 6 months or more, depending on your availability.

Description of Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:  

  • Is currently enrolled as a university student or recently graduated. 

  • Has legal authorization to work in the Czech Republic. 

  • Demonstrates a willingness to relocate to the Czech Republic for the duration of the internship. 

  • Exhibits an advanced level of proficiency in English, Dutch, French, Italian or German.

  • Displays a proactive issue-solving mindset, interest in Finance and a strong eagerness to learn. 

  • Ideally has knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, SAP or programming experience.

  • Ideally possesses skills in data analysis and customer service. 

  • Understands and aligns with the team/company culture and goals, taking proactive steps to contribute to their achievement. 

  • Is capable of handling confidential information with trustworthiness and discretion. 

  • Has the ability to comprehend end-to-end processes and optimize them for efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Demonstrates a keen sense of stakeholder management responsibilities and can effectively manage tasks with multiple deadlines. 

  • Excels as a team player, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and key contacts.
