The work we do
Be a part of the fast-growing area of M&A Analytics, where we use data to drive insights and decisions in both buy- and sell-side transactions. Data analytics within M&A is not just about processing numbers, it is a about creating a “single-source-of-truth” that underpins or validates the equity story in direct collaboration with the broader deal team. Our role is to transform complex data engineering and analytics tasks into simple, compelling narratives, providing strategic insights that have a direct impact on the deal at hand.
Your Role
You will join the specialized M&A Analytics team and contribute to project delivery with continuous support from the team to help you learn and grow in your role. We are close-knit and fast-growing team, and as you develop in your role you will take on greater responsibility in driving our projects forward and improving our offering. You will get the opportunity to improve not only your analytical and problem-solving abilities, but also your understanding of the M&A process and identifying value drivers and risks within a business. Expect to engage in dynamic client projects, each with its own unique business model and data sources which will challenge you to innovate through python programming in our quest to extract strategic insights.

About You
You are a recent graduate or have approximately 1–2 years of experience in a data-related field. To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

A completed Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Data science, Economics, Statistics, Analytics or similar

Experience (professional or from coursework) in programming or analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL and Power BI. It is especially meritorious if you are familiar with Python packages such as Pandas, Numpy, SciKit and Statsmodel, and the use of DAX measures in Power BI.

It is a plus, but not a requirement, if you have previous experience or a familiarity with finance and accounting concepts strong quantitative capabilities and a methodical approach to problem solving

Attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in every aspect of your work

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and clearly articulate complex data insights in simple terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

An interest in working in a dynamic M&A environment, combined with curiosity and business awareness to uncover the key drivers behind business performance.
