About the role:

Our growing Berlin Technology Centre is a key part of Deutsche Bank’s global Tech Centre network. You’ll be part of a tech environment focused on engineering excellence and financial services innovation. Working with cutting-edge technologies and some of the brightest minds in the business, you’ll grow your digital skills and discover where you can make the biggest impact for our industry and clients worldwide. Our structured Graduate Programme gives you the foundations, skills and experience to build a long-term career as a technology professional at Deutsche Bank.

Across two team rotations, you may gain expertise in:

  • Designing and delivering engineering solutions for our businesses and customers
  • Enhancing our infrastructure capabilities and functions with new and fresh ideas
  • Performing and improving QA and Test Automation frameworks
  • Providing production engineering services to ensure the safety and reliability of our technology
  • Operating at the forefront of financial services technology at scale

Description of Ideal Candidate

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Maths, Physics or a similar field
  • Coding skills in one or more languages, such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python or C++, plus an understanding of software engineering, architecture principles, software testing techniques and development cycles
  • Passion for applying technology at a global player in the world of finance
  • Strong communication skills, business-fluent English and enthusiasm for collaborating in agile teams

To be eligible for the 2027 Graduate Programme you must:

  • Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2026 and 31st July 2027
  • Be able to start full time work in July 2027, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements
  • Be able to provide proof of your Bachelor’s degree by March 2027, if a work permit is required
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience (excluding internships)
