We are looking for you, an ambitious master’s or bachelor’s student (m/f), to support our Finance organization by doing an internship project at our location in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.
Our Finance organization offers great career opportunities in a global and international environment. The department that will welcome you includes several sub-departments such as Cost Accounting, Treasury, Financial & Statutory, Tax, Credit, Invoice to Cash, and Internal Audit. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various finance functions and work on projects that align with your interests and career goals.
Project description
We offer graduation internships where students work on a thesis in our department. Also, internships that focus on gaining work experience in our department are an option. Projects in areas like Product Costing, Inventory management, Credit risk assessments, financial reporting, Transfer Pricing, ESG reporting, and Tax compliance review are possible. But we are open to your ideas and interests, so we can find a fit for gaining work experience or working on your thesis together.
Responsibilities

Preparation and review of financial statements

Data analyzing and financial reporting

Review of the VAT and/or Intrastat returns

Implement automation solutions into current processes

Preparing Balance sheet account reconciliations

Connect with other Dow departments like Logistics, Procure to Pay, Customs and HR

Explore tools like SAP, Office (co-pilot), SharePoint, Power Automate

Qualifications

You are currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s in accounting, finance, taxation or ICT

You have a good working knowledge of English. Other languages like German, French etc. are considered a plus

Basic knowledge of MS office, Copilot experience is a plus
