What you will do

As an aspiring future leader, you’ll be given broad exposure to a variety of teams and customer segments.

You’ll spend time working in the frontline of our business, serving customers both in-person, as well as on the phone and via digital channels. You’ll also work with Head Office teams, such as the Chief Operating Office, or Digital Transformation and Strategy teams to identify systems and process improvements, or support, manage and deliver projects.

You may also spend time in with our product or data and analytics teams to identify opportunities that improve our products and propositions and ensure they satisfy our customers’ needs.

After the first year, you’ll have flexibility to state your preferences for your final rotation. This could lead to a final and permanent placement that matches your career aspirations.

At the end of the programme, you’ll have acquired a broad range of skills and have an informed idea of the career path you want to follow. This might include roles in our digital teams such as digital product managers, digital experience managers and data analysts.

You could also look at roles in our product development teams, such as product managers for cards, mortgages, lending, business banking, or in client proposition teams, with roles such as proposition managers.

If your interests lie in strategy, we also have a variety of career pathways within this area in sustainability, marketing, or sales.

What you'll learn

You’ll benefit from a mix of on-the-job learning and courses offered through LinkedIn Learning, Fit for Banking modules and development pathways on Degreed.

You’ll have a Graduate Programme alumnus to help you settle in with us. They’ll help you navigate the organisation and make connections so you can build your networks. A mentor will also be available to provide advice and guide your development.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities for continuous learning and people to support you during your time with us so that you’re well prepared for your future.
