Overview
Details
Every component of a Formula 1 car represents thousands of hours of design thinking, iteration, and engineering craft. Before a part reaches the manufacturing shop floor, let alone the race car, it begins life in our Mechanical Design group: a team dedicated to creating robust, lightweight, high performance solutions that help unlock every fraction of a second.
What Future Opportunities May Involve
By registering your interest, you’ll be considered for roles across multiple seniority levels. Typical responsibilities may include:
-
Designing components and systems across both metallic and composite domains, from concept to car integration
-
Generating high quality 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings
-
Supporting or leading test and validation programmes to ensure performance and reliability
-
Managing reliability of assigned systems throughout their lifecycle and supporting trackside or rig based investigations
-
Collaborating closely with internal and external manufacturing teams to deliver fully integrated, performance optimised designs
-
Applying first principles thinking, materials knowledge, and sound engineering judgement to create efficient and innovative solutions
-
