About this job:
PartnerRe's Corporate Accounting Team provides general ledger management and other accounting support services to assist the PartnerRe Group and its global legal entities to meet their reporting and finance requirements. The Team aims to provide a collaborative and supportive environment which delivers strong outcomes for the Group and for its team members. The Team is primarily made up of experienced accountants and is very committed and hard-working.
About the role:
- Contribute to the Group USGAAP and other local STAT/GAAP ledgers quarterly closing process, including general ledger population, account analysis and reconciliations
- Work with various teams in the preparation of global regulatory quarterly/annual returns and financial statements across the PartnerRe Group
- Work with various teams on the preparation of Corporation Tax and VAT/GST filings for various PartnerRe entities
- Support the completion of internal and external audits
- Support the Corporate Accounting managers in projects that may arise

Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Confidence to handle double entry bookings
- Proficient Excel/ MS Office skills

Education:
- 2.1 degree or equivalent (predicted or achieved) business degree with a specialisation in accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
