Open Gate Italia is looking for a regulatory consultant for incorporation into its fulltime staff.
Details
The candidate will have the task of collaborating in the provision of support for activities in the area of regulatory affairs, through:
- The analysis of the reference legislation
- The assessment of the impact of said legislation from the point of view of clients (in close collaboration with the clients’ functional areas)
- Representation of the regulatory position of clients before the relevant Administrations (with particular reference to AGCOM, the Italian Communications Authority)
- The definition of the clients’ regulatory position
- The analysis and quantification of the strategic objectives in the short and medium term
- Planning of activities and actions vis-à-vis decision-makers
- The definition of regulatory scenarios and strategies at national and European levels
- The representation of corporate interests in fact-finding investigations and at hearings
- Support during negotiations with other operators (supplies and interoperability)

Description of Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be between 24 and 30 years old, with a degree in managerial engineering/economics and an excellent command of the skills and tools related to quantitative analysis (e.g. Excel) and must have acquired experience in the field of regulatory affairs, at the very least within the context of his/her dissertation.
Good command of spoken and written English is required and familiarity with the Microsoft Office package.
