Description

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years,

You will work closely with the Deputy Director of Heavy Maintenance and Head of Heavy Maintenance, overseeing adhoc projects and communication with Heavy maintenance facilities across Europe on a daily basis, occasionally travelling to these facilities. The role will be based at the Dublin Office on a 2 year trainee program.

Duties will include:

  • Daily communication with the Heavy Maintenance Facilities across Ryanair’s network.
  • Travelling to Ryanair Heavy Maintenance bases for adhoc projects.
  • Carry out projects for the Heavy Maintenance Manager & Deputy Director of Heavy Maintenance when specified.
  • Review Base Maintenance procedures to ensure they are up to date and compliant.
  • The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of running an aircraft base maintenance facility, including effective management of people, rostering, audit closures, understanding & maintaining manning levels and understanding and implementing policy & procedure as required and overseeing invoicing for heavy maintenance.
  • Reviewing the costings for each of Ryanair’s heavy maintenance bases, ensure all over spends are justified and that the bases do not go over budget.
  • Ensure the weekly report is sent in on time by getting all required information from each of the bases and summarizing it in a report.
  • Assist other departments that fall underneath the Deputy Director of Heavy Maintenance, such as Appearance.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, preferably Aircraft or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
  • Previous experience of AMOS advantageous but not essential.
  • Experienced in managing people preferred.
  • The unrestricted right to work and travel in the EU.
