Description of the role

This team is part of the department Driver and Vehicle information at ConX. The team is a cross-functional team working in both the application layer and the platform layer that interacts with multiple hardware on different points in the vehicle. The screen runs on the Android automotive OS using Java and Kotlin while the platform is built in Embedded C++.

They are now looking to add another developer to one of their teams. Depending on the candidate's preference this could either be a platform developer focusing on Embedded C++ or an application developer using Java and/or Kotlin. As a software Engineer you will be doing software development in application and native layers of the Android stack for the infotainment system. You will collaborate with UX, Designers and other stakeholders to define a coherent end-to-end solution.

This position is a good fit for a software engineer graduate who is self-motivated and curious and who thrive in a highly collaborative setting. The teams within the Vehicle information area are working in small agile cross-functional teams with both developers and UX designers.

To enjoy this position you need to have a transparent mindset and promote a collaborative culture. You're curious to always learn more and develop your technical skills but also as a person.
