TGR Haas F1 Team has been a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship over the past decade. With more than 200 grand prix starts to our name, we pride ourselves on being an ambitious challenger within Formula 1 - and we want you to be part of that journey.
The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, TGR Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Ten years later, the team is still building momentum, guided by clear objectives and technical partnerships, and fresh from securing its second biggest points haul in a Formula 1 season.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
- Design activities consist of the following:
- Design studies for the initial concept stage of the car design program, including component and assembly idea generation and layout/packaging
- It will be expected to have a knowledge of the F1 technical regulations.
- Design project ownership and completion for a variety of composite related assemblies, including geometry and construction final definition.
- Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Designer or their designee.

Education and Work Experience:
- GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Further education including Mechanical Engineering degree. Knowledge about composite materials desired.
- Internship or Formula Student in motorsport environments are good add on (especially in F1 composite groups).
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Have an excellent understanding of English language.
- Strong technical background in racing car.
- Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time sensitive situations.
- Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.
- Work well within a team environment with personnel at all levels.
- A sympathetic approach to work colleagues and an ability to integrate within a group environment.
- A can-do positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.
