Who are we?

One of the fastest growing software companies worldwide, Halo Service Solutions is an industry leader in building innovative service management platforms. We are an expert partner to some of the world’s leading organisations, deploying our out-of-the-box ITSM, PSA, and CRM software in a way that supports their bespoke business needs. We work with prestigious organisations based in over fifty countries around the world, varying in size from small start-ups to multi-national household names like Microsoft, West Ham United, and McLaren.

Our entire team works on our service desk product; developing, selling, supporting, managing and implementing the programme all in-house. We are one team with our own specialities, and we support each other to work together to deliver an end-to-end service. We believe that work should be fun, fulfilling, and full of opportunities to grow, so we are proud to be a values-driven organisation that places people first and creates a culture of care.

At Halo you’ll play a pivotal role in our success from day one, gaining experience on rotations in every department of the company. You will receive full training, regular 1-2-1’s with your designated mentor and salary increases based on your performance! While you may start in one area, the opportunity to move internally is huge, offering you the flexibility to grow your career in your chosen direction, under a permanent contract.

An insight into The Halo Grad Scheme

The Halo Grad Scheme begins with a month of training sessions designed to provide a basis of understanding into our ITSM, PSA and CRM software. During this time, you’ll learn about the development of our products, and how they are implemented into bespoke service solutions for our customers.

After the initial training period, you’ll work in a support role, helping existing clients with any technical issues they may have. This role will give you hands-on experience of working with clients and understanding their needs. You’ll learn how to handle queries, manage expectations, and troubleshoot problems. This role will allow you to develop your communication and problem-solving skills, as well as your technical expertise.

As you progress through the scheme, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate around different departments within the company, including sales, consultancy, development, and support. This will help you to find which area of the business you’re best suited to and allow you to develop your skills in each department. During each rotation, you’ll both shadow colleagues and work on your own projects, all whilst receiving one-to-one mentoring and support.

When you feel ready, you’ll have the opportunity to take on an official role in your desired field on a permanent basis. Here, you will have the chance to continue your professional development and build a long-term career within the tech industry. If, however, you decide it’s not the role for you, there remains a great deal of flexibility, allowing you to take on different responsibilities until you’re happy with your position at Halo.

Pathways at Halo

Support Technician:  All of our graduates begin in a Support Technician role, providing opportunities to put what has been learnt during training sessions into practice. As a Support Technician, you’re the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. You’ll ask all of the right questions to understand customers’ problems, then guide them through how to resolve their issues. Initially, you’ll be working with mentors who will guide you through the resolutions, until you build up a stronger understanding of Halo and are able to problem solve more independently. Over time, this role will develop your technical expertise and product knowledge, giving you the fundamental skills to move into other roles.

  • Account Executive: As an Account Executive, you will take ownership of the entire sales process, from discovery to contract signing. Your responsibilities include understanding and gathering prospect requirements, conducting product demos, maintaining timely communication, and nurturing relationships with prospects. This will also involve delivering on-site presentations to our global clients and travelling internationally for trade shows. This role requires a deep understanding of the product, strong commercial acumen, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pre-Sales Consultant: As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will collaborate with Account Executives to provide technical expertise for mid to high-value opportunities. Your role involves configuring pre-demo solutions, running integration-related sessions, defining specifications for future integrations, scoping implementation projects, and conducting proof-of-concept demonstrations. You’ll be the technical problem solver, ensuring the success of sales from a technical standpoint, while managing your time efficiently and demonstrating commercial awareness.
  • Business Development Representative: As a Business Development Representative, you will execute targeted campaigns to generate leads for our company. You will utilise Outreach to manage communication flows, secure discovery meetings with potential clients, and play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base. This role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Solutions Architect: As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be responsible for implementing Halo and managing projects from contract signature to handover. Your duties will include designing workflows and solutions, ensuring high product adoption and customer satisfaction, and leading enhancement projects for existing customers. There will be opportunities to travel to our global customers for their implementations. This role requires strong time management, technical expertise, deep product knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills.
