Overview
Established on April 25, 2012, and based in a small coastal community of Senya-Beraku, Ghana, Beckfound has been working to improve the quality of life of some of the most vulnerable children. The foundation manages its own orphanage, school, and soccer academy. Beckfound equally supports credible local projects focusing on education, community development, healthcare, and special needs.

Volunteering has been the backbone of the services that Becky’s Foundation renders in Ghana. Whether you are an individual or a group, being students, professionals, missionaries, or seniors, you can join hands with us and use your time and talent to help children and communities in need. Several volunteers have made important contributions and have had life-changing experiences working with us on different projects. Many of them are proud to call our base their second home and, for that matter, have returned to our projects on many occasions. You too could have a role to play in one or more of our ongoing projects.

General volunteering requirements
- Able to commit at least 2 weeks
- At least 18 years old on the day you start volunteering. Under-aged people either need adult accompaniment or must provide us with a letter of parental consent
- Open-minded, willing to learn and adjust to fit into different cultures and work in a less resourceful environment
- Clean background check, less than 1 year old
Medical volunteering requirements
In addition to the general requirements, medical volunteers must meet the following additional requirements:
- A copy of a medical degree, or transcripts, or license
- Medical resume
