If you are traveling to Brazil for work, note that you are to apply for a Brazilian Visa known as VITEM V. This temporary visa is applicable to those who might already have employment inside the country or those who have already received a job offer. This type of visa is already good for several entries and the validity period is up to two years and may be extended for another 2 years. Prepare a clear scanned copy of the following documents for it may be asked during your online application:

• Fully accomplished and signed Visa Application Form.
• 2 x 2 Photographs that are no older than three months and taken with consideration to the ICAO Standards.
• Passport that contains at least two blank pages to be able to affix the Brazilian Visa upon entry. Validity of the passport should be at least 3 months after the date of exit from Brazil. The passport should be no older than 10 years as well.
• Introduction or invitation letter from the sponsoring institution, an employment contract, or a job offer.

To Apply:

1. Once you have applied online, print the receipt at the end of the online application and collate your original documents together with the receipt.
2. Visit the Brazilian consulate near you and submit your signed original documents and receipts to the consular agent.
3. After processing your documents, the consular agent will inform you about payment procedures and the delivery of your request.
