Visitor Visa in Italy

Visiting Italy is a dream for many people, and the country welcomes those who would like to explore the wonders of the country. Should you be visiting for leisure, a conference, or a vacation, you’ll definitely be up for an amazing trip around the country. Should you decide to come over to Italy and you are an EU or EEA Citizen, you do not need to secure a visa, you may check it in this list if a visa will still be required from you. However, if you are a third-country national and you’re visiting, you may need to secure a Schengen Visa for your trip. The following documents will be required from you:

  • Fully accomplished Application Form that you may find in this link
  • (2) Two pieces of identical photographs that are no older than three months and taken with consideration to the Italian photograph requirements
  • Passport that contains at least two blank pages and is not more than 10 years old Validity of the passport should be 6 months after the date of exit from Italy or Schengen territory
  • Reservation tickets for your flight to Italy
  • Reservation confirmation from the hotel you will be staying in
  • Copy of your trip Itinerary
  • Health Insurance confirmation from your provider assuring your coverage of at least EUR30,000 throughout the Schengen territory
  • Proof of payment for the visa application fee
  • Proof of financial capacities such as payslips and bank statements for 6 months
