Description of Ideal Candidate
You can apply if you are a third-year college student with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better. For Sanford C. Bernstein Research internships, first-year MBAs are eligible. We generally prefer students majoring in business, finance, economics, math, computer science or engineering, but we consider strong students across all disciplines.
We have found that an individual’s major plays less a role in their success than specific characteristics and skills. We look for people who have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and who excel in both verbal and written communication. You should also enjoy working as part of a team, be detail oriented and able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
