Dream Africa Care Foundation is a non-profit, non-partisan; volunteer NGO (non-governmental organization) registered in Ghana under number G24, 482. Dream Africa Care Foundation (DACF) seeks to promote the general wellbeing and the development of Ghanaians through humanitarian work; we seek to practically and effectively initiate, implement and enhance programs and activities that would in the long run go to benefit the communities that we choose to work with. We provide diverse range of opportunities to people around the world who want to become part of our volunteer community in Ghana.

Dream Africa Care Foundation wants you to be more than a tourist; we want you to interact with the local culture and community you are visiting. Whether you are a student trying to gain academic credit and working experience, or a professional looking for that meaningful vacation or corporate team building retreat, or a retiree that wants to revive your life in another exotic destination. We offer volunteer, intern & travel programs that will fit anyone's schedule, interests and passions.
We seek to increase awareness of the obstacles preventing improvements in education, sanitation, nutrition, and infrastructure, and after volunteering abroad with DAC, most of our volunteers return home and instantly serve as ambassadors to their own communities. Experiencing life in a rural Ghanaian community as an active member, not just an observing visitor, is an adventure that stays with each volunteer. Several of our volunteers have started their own nonprofits after their experience in Ghana, and many of our volunteers return to work with us regularly.
You can get involved in teaching, care &community, medicine, journalism, veterinary & animal Care, information technology projects, sport coaching, fashion & design, law & human right, business internships.
You choose how long your placement lasts. Apart from our 2-Week Specials, placements are flexible and most last from one month upwards. Most volunteers go for between two and six months. Our projects runs throughout the year so you can choose to volunteer with us anytime of the year you want; you can volunteer for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of one year.

Whether looking for college credit, a chance to travel during a career breakor simply a volunteer vacation for the family, our volunteers come from very different parts of the world, and very different places in life. From young children traveling with their families to 86-year old adventurers, the range of life experience and backgrounds coming together at the home-base is always unique, and always exciting. Dream Africa Care Foundation is committed to make volunteering abroad possible for people of all ages, abilities, and all walks of life. Please contact us for more information. Cost/funding for participants
All our Project placements are totally free including accommodation, transportation from the airport (our drivers and project coordinators will pick you up from the airport), orientation and 24 hour support from our staff. The only cost involve in this project is your food, we have a cook in the volunteer house who prepares three meals a day for all the volunteers, If you are a vegetarian or have any allergies this is taken into account when we arrange your placement. Volunteers pay $350 a month for three meals a day; the cost also covers your laundry, drinking water, toiletries and we also have 24-hours wireless internet access in the volunteer house so that you can keep in touch with friends and family back home, Our aim is to provide cheap and affordable volunteer opportunity to people like you so that you can help make a difference in the life's of the less fortunate in Africa.
