A two-year programme for people who want to work with the most innovative technologies such as Cloud, Cyber, Data and AI to solve problems at a global scale for millions of customers.

What you will do

  • You’ll work with a range of technical teams on large-scale, global projects that will give you experience within Cloud, Cybersecurity, Big Data and AI.

  • You’ll build and test new technologies, run cyberattack simulations, and help us continue our transition to multiple Cloud platforms.

  • The programme offers a personalised growth path, global experience, and skills. You’ll have exposure to different teams within HSBC over a period of two years and become a Technical Specialist or Technology Generalist who can drive innovation across the entire bank.

What you will learn

  • You begin with an immersive induction programme to learn about the bank’s emerging technologies and how we are driving the future of banking.

  • Over the two-year programme you’ll have exposure to different technical teams. You’ll have a structured learning programme and the opportunity to get professional, industry-recognised certifications such as Scrum Master, Cloud Certifications with GCP or AWS, SaFE, and Agile Ways of Working.

  • You’ll have plenty of opportunities for continuous learning and people to support you during your time with us so that you’re well prepared for your future.

You thrive on tackling complex challenges in a structured and analytical way; and using data and logic to find solutions.

Requirements:

  • Available to work full time for two years commencing July 2024
  • Obtained, or expected to achieve, a 2:1 Degree classification / 3.2 GPA or higher or overseas equivalent to this
  • Fluent in English
