As a certification specialist you are working in an international and dynamic team to evaluate complex and technical IT systems according to industry standards. You will work with an industry leading provider of digital identity and signature services and gain experience in different IT environments.

Details

Your contribution to KPMG

  • Drive impactful certification projects by assessing IT and cloud environments focusing on Cyber Security and regulatory requirements
  • Explore and evaluate Public Key Infrastructures and Identity Proofing processes, ensuring they meet Cyber Security best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Explore and evaluate complex IT systems and recognize dependencies and critical components
  • Assess innovative software applications and secure software development practices around digital identity products and services
  • Take responsibility and actively contribute to cutting-edge topics such as digital identities and quantum security
  • Partner with service teams to interpret regulatory requirements, deliver strategic insights to our clients, and play a pivotal role in advancing KPMG's accreditation efforts
  • Engage in a variety of other cyber security services, such as Security Transformation, Cyber Defense, and Cyber Governance, contributing to projects that make a real difference

Description of Ideal Candidate

This is what makes you successful

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another STEM field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation
  • 1–2 years of hands-on IT or Cyber Security experience, including internships, is beneficial
  • Excel at problem-solving and thrive when working independently toward shared goals
  • Showcase excellent communication abilities and a collaborative spirit, contributing proactively to team success
  • Have a passion for understanding complex systems and display genuine enthusiasm for emerging technologies, technical tools, and innovative topics
  • Bring a solid knowledge, and ideally professional experience, in configuring security for operating systems, databases, and network architecture
  • Communicate fluently in English; German language skills are beneficial
