Taiwan is a modest place to start your internship journey. The country has a lot in store for you for both your professional endeavors and life as an expat intern. In general, all countries who wish to take internships in Taiwan are required to get a Taiwanese Internship Visa. The following documents may be asked from you:

• An accomplished online application form that may be accessed through this link
• Two passport-sized photo taken within 6 months prior to application, and with white background
• Original and photocopies of your passport, valid up to 6 months  after your visa expiration date, with at least 2 blank pages
• An approval letter issued by a government agency in Taiwan (Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare) - usually provided by your internship host company
• Electronic ticket reservation
• Other requirements that may be asked to further support your application
