Here is something new what you should do today: activate the “Residence permit/ student visa” option. By doing so, you will automatically become eligible for hundreds of additional programs on HeySuccess.

HeySuccess already filters out the programs that you are not eligible for based on your citizenship. You never have to waste time by opening an opportunity on your Wall or in your search results just to find that it is only for students from another country. But, guess what. If you have a student visa or residence permit for another country, all of the programs that are eligible for that country will also come to your Wall. You are eligible for those opportunities too, so why not have access to them?

If you study or live in a foreign country, local companies, schools, and other organizations will accept you for their programs, provided that you have legal ground to study or work in their country. For example, if you study in the U.S. and you have an F-1 student visa, and you see this eligibility criteria in an internship description, you are eligible to apply: “Only U.S. citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, or students who are authorized to work in the United States will be considered for employment.”

With your permit or visa, you are in the position to see this type of student program on your Wall and in your search results, provided that you provide information about your documentation. This will open up hundreds of new programs for you. Cool, isn’t it?

How does it work?

It is simple. Just open the Edit Profile form, find “Residence permit/ student visa”, enter the country where you have the documentation, and save it.  

That is so easy. Refresh your Wall and start enjoying the new opportunities that you are eligible for. Or, search programs with your new eligibility automatically included.

We really want you to use this functionality. Utilize everything that your student visa affords you; it does not just give you the right to study in a foreign country, and this is just one of the benefits.
